Differences Between Posts & Pages

The difference between pages and posts can cause confusion. In the dashboard they look the same, but how they operate is a bit different.

Posts

Posts are a great place for articles, news updates, announcements or other information that is mostly text and you want to publish quickly. Think of your favorite news site. Most of what they post are articles for consumption where a date and time is important for reference. You can also add tags, categories and author information to a post.

Pages

Pages include the Home page, the About page and the Contact page. They also include all your ministries, the Leadership page and the Location page. Really, a page is a great place to display information about your church that doesn’t change much. On pages, you can design how the page looks with our WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get) Page Builder.
